FEEDBACK!! :D
Often times we have big musical groups split up and spawn artists who like to do things solo and leave the rest of them in the dust. For example Wu-tang clan when M and Redman decided to create the masterpiece known as Tical. Beyonce leaving Destiny's Child to do her own thing. Busta Rhymes leaving Leaders of the New School to do his own solo. Q-tip working on his own projects. Why do u guys think this is? Maybe because they have all this money and there fellow artists no longer care for it. Could it be an inflated Ego? Discuss below. I'd like to hear what you guys think. And fill me in if I missed a few groups, I def I did.

I believe that most of these musical groups split up for many reasons. One of these reasons is because they are at the top of their games and wanted to go out on top.
Yeah, def! I think that because theyre a part of the group they have to compromise and make decisions together and sometimes that becomes difficult if they have different ideas. so the ultimate decision is splitting up and eventually doing your own thing.
Also you notice how it's always the lead in the group that branches off. I'm going with the inflated ego thing. Maybe they feel they're over being in a group because they're too good for it. They want to "try something new," meaning they're tired of sharing their paycheck, and they want some of that solo $$$monies$$. lol.
Yea...I feel bad for those ppl that get left behind. It's hard to get in the spotlight when you're only known as a backup singer or "that girl in that group." That's how ppl drop out of the entertainment world.
i can think of a whole bunch of groups that split up but i guess it mostly might be because people lately think singing solo might be just cool or they might get positive feedback from their fans....lol i mean look at the jonas bros...nick just started singing all of a sudden solo....it might be because he just had soo many fans...idk i'm just saying... :P
Annie- Inflated Ego is a definite. The lead is the one that gets most of the spotlight and thats the reason they feel like they can do it on their own. But if you look at Destinys Child, Beyonce left and did her own thing, but then Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams went solo as well. So not all groups just fall apart.
