Today's not Friday but, it's always an exciting day because Kanye West drops a new song every Friday until Christmas. He does this for his fans that are awaiting his upcoming album, that still remains untitled. Every week, millions of fans are able to hear a new song, as well as receive a free download thanks to Kanye's generosity. His new album, said to drop on September 14, 2010, had been pushed back to November, due to some complications. As a result, Kanye declared the start of GOOD Friday, in order to make up for the time it took to complete his album. So far there has been 8 GOOD Fridays in total, which means 8 new free song downloads!

Hmmmm. I feel like this is such a publicity stunt. I don't like the man. I don't like what he stands for. He's way too much of an attention whore.
The funny thing is that even Justin Bieber has a more humble attitude than him and Bieber has yet to actually become a man -biologically speaking.
So in retrospect, Bieber is more of a man than Kanye is.

His mother dies in 2007.
If you notice he's had an outburst every year up until 07. His mother's death affected him so he was off radar from 07-09.
But he starts it up again in late 2009 when he "rapes" Swift's acceptance speech of her first VMA award.
So Kanye, you had time to change, a family death that could have inspired change and urges from the media, fans and other important figures to change. But you didn't. So i hope you eventually get pushed out of mainstream spotlight and become what you would probably dread to be called "the average man".
I know i ranted a lot so to offset the balance i will tell you how much I like pancakes. Especially Cookie dough pancakes. It has cookie dough bites in them. SOOO GOOOD. :D
I also think that this is a publicity stunt because everyone knows he messed up big last year at the Video Music Awards. He got up in front of the whole audience and embarrassed Taylor Swift. This was probably the most historic event of VMAs. I thought obnoxious of him so did millions of other Taylor Swift fans. He lost a lot of publicity for what he did while he was supposedly inebriated. Although, he did work up the courage to apologize to Swift, he still needed time for everyone to forget. Now that his actions are a thing of the past, he wants to get back up there where he was so the best way to do it is by giving the people what they want. I personally think that he is a very talented performer and deserves to be back on top. If this publicity stunt of his works out, it will be safe to say that Kanye is coming back.

i'd like to say that whatever he does on or off the camera doesnt matter you can say what you want, you're entitled to your opinion of course but what is kanye an artist right? he makes music right? so what does it matter as long as he's putting out music, and quality music at that. this is a two sided argument of course, publicity stunt or not more music never hurt anyone. and comparing justin beiber to kanye. im so appalled B) ...keep in mind the discussion is music not previous occurences.
I like you blog and think it is a very good idea but I do not like Kanye but that is ok and we look in to checking out his new song.
I agree with joecool on this one. he makes music and as long as it is of substance then i like it. i personally dont think that if i met kanye id wanna be his best friend because he is arrogant and obnoxious, but he is talented and thats what counts. He's also a hardworker. those of you that follow him on twitter would see that he stays in the studio for countless number of hours to finish his album and provide us with FREE music every week. Its evident that he loves what he does and wants to share with the general public and his fans. so its okay to hate kanye for his personality but hating him for his music because hes a crappy person isnt cool.
Yes but he even uses his Twitter as a publicity tool by following only one person at a time. And correct me if im wrong but didnt he follow justin biever?

well simsboy, if you had a twitter you would know that he doesnt follow anyone. he knows he has a lot of fans and followers and updates everyone on his status because i mean why wouldnt his fans want to know when hes releasing a song and the progress of the albums that are coming out. if you WERE a fan you would understand the anticipation of the crowd. but you are not so you cannot be bias based on his personality and many people can agree with me that his music is one of the best out there.
Thanks for the notice. I love Kanye's music and I'm excited to see what songs he comes out with. Honestly there's no one who comes out with as fresh and new style of music as him. I also love that the title of your blog is one of his songs. Awesome blog, music is my outlet too. :)
