DJ AM, some of you might not even know who he was. Its ok I can't blame you, he was however one of the best DJ's of our time, why you may ask? He was one of the best at crowd control, moving the crowd, which was a trait lost by many dj's in the last decade. He was a pretty humble guy, you can tell in his many interviews were he talks about being a dj, growing up in a jewish home, how he made it in his field of being a dj, all the obstacles he's had to overcome and all the fun he's had along the way. The reason I say "was" a great dj was because last year on august 28th 2009 he passed away. Im not here to discuss that im here to tell you about his work, I wasn't fortunate enough to have met him or seen any of his shows, but I have nothing but respect and admiration for who he was. He was able to mix ABBA,Queen, Daft Punk, Kanye west, Journey etc etc in a set and not many dj's are able to say they can do that and do it well. So below is one of the best and most varied sets I've seen him do. I hope you enjoy and may his legacy live on forever R.I.P.
